Today I took the long way home. A different route, one I’d never taken before. Every once in a while I like to do something out of the ordinary and experience something different.
Here in Indiana the terrain is pretty flat, but on those back roads today I saw small rolling hills & wildflowers that made me slow down and take it all in. I drove a little slower, no music or podcasts, just stillness.
I try to live a bit slower whenever I can. It’s easier said than done, especially when you’re starting out, but that’s where I find the answers and get closer to myself.

What if tomorrow you went in a different direction? Maybe it’s on a drive, or in your business, with your kids or partner, or maybe it’s internally.
What if you decided to be still? Maybe you’d find the answer to something you’ve been pondering, or something you’ve been struggling with, or maybe something you didn’t even know you needed the answer to.
So often we’re in a hurry and think we don’t have time to slow down and be still, but honestly, I feel like when we make time for these things, we find time for all the things that matter.
Do you have something you do for a “change of scenery”? If so, leave me a comment below! I’d love to hear about it!
